California Highway Patrol officials said Thursday morning that all lanes of the 5 Freeway in Glendale have been reopened after being closed for hours when a big rig jackknifed on the roadway.
Authorities said the truck was traveling north when it hit the center divider around 2:21 a.m. and jackknifed, blocking the northbound lanes and dumping debris across all of the southbound lanes.
T he CHP reopened the southbound lanes just after 6:30 a.m., and northbound lanes were reopened around 8 a.m.
