President Obama will visit Los Angeles in mid-April to help raise money for Sen. Barbara Boxer and the Democratic National Committee.
Boxer’s campaign manager, Rose Kapolczynski, says Obama is expected to help the senator raise hundreds of thousands of dollars as she seeks reelection to a fourth term. Details on location and cost were still being worked out.
Three Republicans are vying for their party’s nomination to challenge Boxer in November.
