Zenyatta improves to 16-0 with another victory

Unbeaten Zenyatta toyed with four outclassed foes Friday in winning the $500,000 Apple Blossom at Oaklawn Park by 4 1/4 lengths, her 16th consecutive victory.

She came from last place, with the track announcer saying, ‘Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Zenyatta.’

Here’s video of the victory at 1 1/8 miles. Too bad Rachel Alexandra decided to duck the race.
