Bonita playmaker Jiovanni Mier is in the game.

I just asked one of Bonita’s camera guys for confirmation and he said yes, it is him.

Last month, Mier suffered what was first diagnosed as a season-ending neck injury. A second opinion revealed it wasn’t. This is his first game back.

Bonita just scored. And Jio made the PAT!

San Dimas converted a fourth down to start the second quarter and went on to score.

Bonita answered back as Doug Griffith scored from about the five on a Statue of Liberty play to make it 14-7 half way through the second quarter.
