Softball: El Modena is three outs away from winning Division II title

Let the countdown begin. El Modena needs only three more outs to win its first section softball title.

It seems like a mere formality, at this point. The Vanguards are going to beat Glendora in the Southern Section-Toyota Division II title game Friday night at Barber Park in Irvine.

Heading into the top of the seventh, the visitors have a 9-4 lead.
