Quarterback Ryan Kasdorf, the Gatorade state player of year when he was a junior at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, has picked up his first scholarship offer. Pace University, an NCAA Division II school in New York, is scheduled to bring him in on a recruiting visit next weekend.
Notre Dame Coach Kevin Rooney said coaches at Stanford apparently recommended Kasdorf after some Pace coaches were visiting with the Cardinal.
Kasdorf was a two-year standout for the Knights. He has good grades but either lack of height or questions about his arm strength have scared off top schools.
