Da’Mari Scott caught two second-half touchdown passes and had an interception to help L.A. Cathedral rally from a 27-14 third-quarter deficit to defeat host Studio City Harvard-Westlake, 37-27, in a Mission League game Saturday night.
Cathedral (8-1, 3-1) will play West Hills Chaminade (8-1, 4-0) on Friday in a battle for first place.
The Phantoms’ defense forced turnovers and turned in a strong performance in the second half to slow down the Wolverines’ passing attack.
It was the 150th coaching victory for Cathedral’s Kevin Pearson.
