The On-Time Rate for OCTD Buses

In my letter to The Times (Jan. 6), I said the Orange County Transit District was pleased with its accessibility to county residents, pleased with its frequent route schedules and pleased with its high on-time rate.
Our happiness about the on-time rate may have seemed a bit misplaced, however, because it was listed as being only 20%. That was a typographical error on our part.
Our actual on-time rate is 90%. And we’re definitely pleased about that. RON REDMOND Manager Marketing/Public Information OCTD
