Calabasas Firm Wins Formica Competition

John Bailey & Associates, a Calabasas-based planning and design firm, was one of three winners in the product category of a two-year, two-part contest sponsored by Formica Corp., with awards totaling more than $80,000.

Bailey’s winning entry, called “Supersigns” and utilizing Formica’s ColorCore surfacing material, is described as a blend of the Old World inlay art form and advanced fabrication techniques, including lazer cutting, engraving, etching and abrasive ultra-high-pressure hydraulics.
