FALL SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS : Chatsworth Has to Rally to Remain Unbeaten in Soccer With a 1-1 Tie

Chatsworth rallied with a goal by Torben Pedersen late in the second half to keep its unbeaten record intact, settling for a 1-1 tie with El Camino Real.
Sean Goldberg scored the single El Camino goal early in the second half to break the scoreless deadlock. El Camino’s record stands at 4-2-1 in West Valley League, while Chatsworth’s is 6-0-1.
All-City forward Eduardo Hernandez scored three goals and Danny Spector added two to lead North Hollywood High past University, 5-2, in soccer Tuesday.
The win, which puts North Hollywood’s record at 4-2-2 overall, ties the Huskies with Westchester for second in the Western League. University dropped to 1-6.
North Hollywood will host Hamilton on Thursday.
Granada Hills shut out Reseda, 3-0, for a West Valley League soccer win.
Mark Hurlimann scored all three goals for the Highlanders, bringing their record to 5-2 in league. Reseda dropped to 3-4.
It was the first shutout of the season for Granada Hills goalie Douglas Urquilla, who got some defensive help from Ean Cleiger, Ray Hodge, Fabio Fortunato and Ben Beauvqis.
