A former subcontractor administrator at Hughes Aircraft Corp. in El Segundo was sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $1,000 for accepting a kickback from a company that wanted to do subcontracting work for Hughes. James K. Rowe, 66, of Los Angeles, admitted that he took a “small” kickback in order to ensure that a Chatsworth machine shop, R. H. Manufacturing, received subcontract work.
