Arizona Women Defeat UCLA, 76-58

TUCSON — The UCLA women’s basketball team lost to Arizona, 76-58, Thursday night at McKale Center despite getting 18 points from senior forward Anne Dean.

The fourth straight loss dropped the Bruins’ record to 9-14 overall, 1-4 in the Pac-West. Arizona’s record went to 16-5 and 3-2.

Miroslava Acosta led Arizona with 27 points. Turnovers (19 in all) proved to be UCLA’s undoing.

Before this season, the UCLA women had never lost to Arizona. The Bruins lost to Arizona, 70-65, earlier this season at Pauley Pavilion.
