Stokes Signs to Play Volleyball at SDSU

SAN DIEGO — Melissa Stokes signed a letter of intent Thursday to play volleyball at San Diego State.
The 5-foot 10 1/2-inch Stokes was a four-year starter for Granite Hills High School and led the Eagles to three Grossmont League championships.
Stokes, who will be the tallest setter in Aztec history, was a first-team all-league and all-county selection in 1985.
