Manufacturers of “Body Toddy,” an elixir touted as a cure for physical ailments ranging from sunburn to cancer, have agreed to tone down promotional claims to settle a consumer protection complaint filed against them last year by the California attorney general. Without admitting the validity of any of the charges in the complaint, Tulsa-based Rockland International agreed to refrain from misrepresenting the powers of the product to cure or relieve pain and suffering.
