Bradley and Rose Bird
Mayor Bradley, in stating that politicians and politics should stay out of the Supreme Court affairs, is 100% correct. And Deukmejian is 100% wrong. Why? Because, as Bradley so aptly stated, judges and the judiciary should be above politics--and not judged by it. Voters should vote for those they feel are competent and not be swayed by any individual’s personal feelings.
Deukmejian and the others who are so hell-bent to get rid of Rose Bird should, rather, do their own thing and let voters do theirs without being subjected to so much belittling on the part of the governor and his “friends.”
