Early this morning a friend called to tell me about your article in the View Section of the Los Angeles Times. I was impressed by what I read and glad to know that TWA is able to make their passengers happy during these trying days.
Having returned from London only the night before, I had to read your article twice before the lights came on and the scene of Flight 853 of March 8 emerged. Suddenly I realized that it was me and my Clipped Wings group you were applauding so graciously. What a fabulous surprise!
I shall send a copy of your article to all members of the cast: to Big Al, who lives in Kansas City; to Jill, Susan and Camille in San Francisco, and to Harlan in Tucson.
