Four football players at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, charged with the theft of $1,300 worth of video and stereo equipment from an appliance store, were suspended from the athletic program by UNLV President Robert Maxson.
The players, all attending the school on athletic scholarships, face a preliminary hearing May 30. The players involved are Reggie Farmer, Tyrone Walker, Lorenzo Gunn and Jamie Williams.
