Middle blocker Gary Van Sickle had 14 kills and 8 blocks Friday night to lead Golden West College past La Verne, 15-10, 15-6, 15-8, in South Coast Conference volleyball action in Huntington Beach.
Outside hitter Steve Conti had 13 kills and 4 blocks also for the Rustlers (6-2, 7-3).
