Bomb Fatal to N.Y. Man --42 Families Evacuated

NEW YORK — Forty-two families were evacuated from an apartment building and two unexploded bombs were removed by bomb squads after a pipe-bomb blast that killed a 20-year-old man early Tuesday, police said. The victim, identified as Stanley Cooper, was believed to have been making the bombs, police said.
