The Illinois Democratic central committee challenged the primary election victories of two Lyndon LaRouche supporters. The committee unanimously approved a resolution declaring vacant the Democratic nominations for lieutenant governor, won by Mark Fairchild, and secretary of state, won by Janice Hart. LaRouche espouses views that are based on his claims of conspiracies involving the Soviet Union, drug dealers and terrorists.
