EDS signed a data-processing contract with Isuzu.

Electronic Data System said the five-year program will upgrade Isuzu Motors’ telecommunications and data-handling capabilities. EDS, the Dallas-based subsidiary of General Motors, will assist Isuzu in computerizing its design, engineering and manufacturing operations as well as providing electronic links among its facilities in Japan, the United States, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
