Culver City : 6 to Get Chancellor’s Awards

Linda Thor, president of West Los Angeles College, will present Chancellor’s Awards to six students in the college’s 453-member graduating class at commencement ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. next Thursday at the college, 4800 Freshman Drive.
Winners are Paul Gaff, James Groat, George Kalyn, Elisabeth Swede, Lora Liu and Stephen Loughlin. Groat and Gaff will be commencement speakers.
In recognition of her contribution to education, Thor recently received the Dolores Award from the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
