Driver Injured in Crash: A 25-year-old El Toro woman injured in a car crash was reported in fair condition at Mission Community Hospital on Wednesday. Deborah Welty was drving north at 1:30 p.m. on Santiago Canyon Road north of Modjeska Canyon when, for unknown reasons, her car drifted onto the dirt shoulder and overturned, ejecting her, highway patrol spokesman Michael Lundquist said. She suffered “major injuries” in the crash and was taken to the Mission Viejo hospital, he said.
