Thailand said it will close its last refugee camp for Cambodians seeking resettlement abroad and relocate the people near the tense Thai-Cambodian border. Most of the 24,000 refugees at Khao-I-Dang Camp have been turned down by Western countries to which they hoped to emigrate. A Thai official said the camp will be closed Jan. 1 and its residents sent to three refugee camps run by guerrillas fighting the Hanoi-backed Cambodian government.
