Orange County College Basketball : Christ College Edges Heritage

Christ College Irvine defeated Christian Heritage, 71-68, Saturday in a nonleague men’s basketball game at Irvine.
Christ College (2-0, 6-3) was led by Michael Thompson’s 21 points. Robert Pallota added 17 points and Paul Wear 8. Heritage’s top scorers were Randy Foster and Sean Smith, who each had 14 points. Gary Peck had 9 rebounds in the losing effort.
In other action:
Southern California Christian 70, Pomona Pitzer 51--Jeff Stephens and Randy Wynne each had 15 for SCC (4-2) at Pomona. Rick Duque led Pomona (3-3) with 12 points.
