Fire destroyed a Quonset hut housing plants for agricultural and landscaping classes at Mt. Carmel High School Sunday, causing $30,000 in damage.
The Metro Arson Strike force ruled out all accidental causes for the fire, said San Diego Fire Department spokesman Larry Cooke.
Firefighters from San Diego and Poway departments quickly controlled the 1:52 p.m. blaze in the hothouse at the high school, located at 9550 Carmel Mountain Road.
