Sophomore guard Eric Cooper, citing a lack of playing time, has quit Arizona’s basketball team, Wildcats Coach Lute Olson said. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Cooper, from Banning High School, played just 46 minutes in Arizona’s first six games this season and averaged three points per game.
