CARSON TO HOST STEWART TRIBUTE

NEW YORK — Johnny Carson will serve as the host for “James Stewart: A Wonderful Life,” a production of New York public television station WNET.
The tribute, in cooperation with MGM/UA Television Productions Inc., will air on public television stations in March as part of the “Great Performances” series.
