Firefighters evacuated 51 people from an office building near Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue after workers in the building began complaining of nausea and dizziness. A vent on a boiler malfunctioned, allowing carbon monoxide fumes to penetrate the two-story building at 626 S. Kingsley Drive, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said. Two unidentified construction workers were treated and released at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, and up to 40 other people were treated at the scene for complaints of dizziness and headaches.
