Theatre Palisades, a 25-year-old community theater organization that is building its own playhouse in Pacific Palisades, has received a pledge of matching funds for public contributions this month, said a spokeswoman for the nonprofit group.
Pacific Palisades resident Bill Haber has pledged to match public donations to help complete construction of the playhouse at Temescal Canyon Boulevard and Haverford Avenue, said Eva Holberg, vice president of Theatre Palisades.
The exterior of the building is completed, but $55,000 is needed to pay off the loan and finish the interior, officials said.
