An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter Scale shook the San Francisco Bay Area. There were no reports of damage or injuries. The State office of Emergency Services placed the quake’s epicenter about 10 miles west of San Francisco. The temblor was felt in high-rise buildings in San Francisco and to the east in Oakland.
