Jazz drummer Buddy Rich underwent four hours of surgery at UCLA Medical Center to remove a cancerous brain tumor and was listed in good condition afterward, a hospital spokesman said. Doctors said that Rich will undergo radiation treatments and should remain in the hospital for about two weeks.
