LUNA TAKES MIMI’S ROLE IN ‘LA BOHEME’

Soprano Katherine Luna will sing the role of Mimi in Opera Pacific’s production of Puccini’s “La Boheme,” opening March 28 for a four-performance run at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.
Luna will replace the originally scheduled Diana Soviero, who has been released from her contract in order to sing in Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci” at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
“La Boheme” is the last of three productions offered by Opera Pacifica this season at the Orange county site. It will also be given March 30, April 1 and 4.
