A Hollywood man returning home from work shot and killed one of two men who allegedly attempted to rob him, police said. Victor Moreno, 42, acted in self defense when he shot at the men who approached him in his driveway as he got out of his car, police said. Moreno took a revolver from his pocket when the men demanded money, police said, leading to an exchange of gunfire. One of the alleged bandits had a handgun and fled, while the other, who had a knife, was killed, police said. The fleeing gunman, Raul Gonsalez, 19, was arrested and booked for murder because the death occurred during the commission of a felony, police said. Police did not release the name of the dead man.
