Clippers Try to Snap Losing Streak on Road
- Share via
The Clippers, who snapped one losing streak Wednesday night, will try to halt another tonight when they open a three-game trip against the Suns at Phoenix.
Although the Clippers ended their six-game slump with a 111-101 win over Utah at the Sports Arena, they still have an 11-game road losing string.
Forward Kenny Fields, who has a calf injury, won’t accompany the team. It was announced earlier that Fields would make the trip.
The Clippers will play at Sacramento Saturday and at Dallas Tuesday.
Injured Clipper star Marques Johnson is scheduled to undergo neck surgery today at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
