Culver City : Architectural Review Law
The City Council has directed the city attorney to draft a law making owners of commercial and residential property subject to site plan and architectural review for building additions of 750 square feet or more.
The law would also allow owners of single- and two-family homes to expand their residences without obtaining a zoning variance from the Planning Commission.
If approved by the commission, the law would give the city greater authority over the design of building additions, according to a report by the city staff.
