Park Service Resignation
So Howard Chapman, ranger of rangers for the National Park Service, has been forced into retirement by Secretary of the Interior Donald Hodel’s minion, William Horn. Chapman, a person whose long career with the Park Service has been one of consistent public service, is thus yet another victim of the shortsightedness of this Administration.
Both Horn and Hodel should resign. Neither of them is able to comprehend the purpose of the National Park System, and as a result they are only damaging it by keeping their positions.
