Granite Hills Maintains Top Baseball Ranking

SAN DIEGO — Granite Hills High School, with two more victories last week, improved its record to 18-3 and maintained its top ranking in this week’s Times’ San Diego County baseball Top 10.
Orange Glen moved to No. 2 from No. 3 this week after its 5-4 victory Thursday over the previous No. 2 team, Mt. Carmel. Mt. Carmel lost two games last week and fell to No. 4.
Clairemont, the City Western League leader, is the highest-ranked section 2-A team this week at No. 6. Clairemont (12-8-1) leads the West by one game over defending 2-A champion Mission Bay.
