Dean Garrett, graduate of San Clemente High and a junior on the NCAA championship Indiana basketball team, is one of 62 players invited to a five-day tryout for the U.S. basketball team at this summer’s Pan American Games. The tryouts begin Thursday at the Olympic training center at Colorado Springs.
