Los Angeles’ popular Z Channel pay-TV service has been sold to Seattle cable-TV entrepreneur Gordon Rock. The purchase price for the 90,000-subscriber channel was not disclosed but was reported to be less than $10 million. Channel sources said Tuesday that no changes are planned in the service’s eclectic mix of block-buster movies, foreign films and classics. The transaction is expected to close within two months.
