Masters Meet Will Be Today at Golden West

The Southern California Striders Masters will hold its Meet of Champions today at Golden West College in Huntington Beach.
Competition will take place in these divisions: Sub-masters (ages 30-34 and 35-39), Masters (40 and over), Women (30 and over), and Open. There are only four open events for men and women--shotput, discus, 100-meter dash and mile run.
The meet starts with the hammer throw at 8:30 a.m. Track events begin at 10, with the final event, the 4x200-meter relay, scheduled for 4:30. Admission is free.
