Civil rights activist Julian Bond said he may run for office again despite a continuing drug investigation involving him. Bond, a former Georgia state senator who ran unsuccessfully for Congress last year, said on CBS-TV’s “Nightwatch” that he expected the drug allegations to follow him no matter what the final outcome of the investigation. Bond’s wife had told police March 19 that her husband was a cocaine abuser.
