Syrian Agriculture Minister Forced Out

DAMASCUS, Syria — The Syrian government, in a drive against economic mismanagement, has forced Agriculture Minister Mahmoud Kurdi to resign.
The official Syrian news agency SANA said Kurdi handed in his resignation after the Cabinet, citing negligence, asked him to step down.
