Tokyo to Cut Water Use Because of Drought

TOKYO — Tokyo will cut its water use by 15% because of a dry spell that has left six local reservoirs dangerously low, the metropolitan government said Thursday. Metropolitan official Arinobu Karahashi said the latest supply cuts, to begin Saturday, will affect 430,000 households.
