Body of Man Found in North Park; Police Seeking Brother in Stabbing

The body of a man who had been stabbed to death was found in his brother’s North Park apartment Saturday morning, and homicide detectives are seeking the brother for questioning, authorities said.
The body of Thomas William Courtney, 35, was discovered by a neighbor about 11:30 a.m. on the floor of an apartment in the 3700 block of Park Boulevard, San Diego Police Sgt. Jim Wallace said. Courtney had been stabbed once in the throat. A blanket was covering the body when the neighbor found him, authorities said.
A large butcher knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found at the scene.
No arrests have been made. Michael J. Courtney, 41, is being sought in connection with the stabbing.
