“Platoon” Director Oliver Stone says he didn’t get any help from the Wall Street Journal in making his new movie, “Wall Street,” about greed and scandal in the world of high finance. The Oscar-winning director had his crew and cast working overtime Saturday--shooting scenes in the newsroom of the New York Daily News--to finish filming while negotiations were still continuing in the directors’ labor dispute. “These are supposed to be Wall Street Journal types,” Stone said as his actors pretended to be reporters, “although the Journal refused to cooperate with us. They even threatened us with legal action if we showed a copy of the paper on film, so we’re using the Financial Times.”
