Water Pollution Suspected in Puerto Rican Outbreak

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — The Commonwealth Health Department said Tuesday that more than 300 cases of gastroenteritis have been reported in the last four days in the western mountain village of Yauco, and officials have warned residents there not to drink from the town’s water supply.
Health officials said they are testing the water supply to see if it is contaminated.
