Magistrate Irma Gonzalez said she couldn’t ensure that Eric Svelmoe, 29, would refrain from similar incidents if released on bail. A dozen members of the Bible Missionary Fellowship in Santee, the church Svelmoe attends, appeared in court on his behalf.
