CINEMA FOUNDATION SETS ALL-STAR SHOW

The American Cinema Awards Foundation will present an all-star show at its “Summer Spectacular and Auction ‘87,” which also features a reunion of some cast members of the film “Oliver!” (1968), tonight at 7:30 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
The event, which is sponsored by American Airlines, will be hosted by Janet Leigh, Louis Gossett Jr. and Tristan Rogers.
Proceeds will go to the Motion Picture Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, and will help establish scholarships in the fields of theater arts and dance, as well as help underwrite film screenings for handicapped and senior citizens in hospitals throughout Southern California.
