Motorcyclist Dies on Canyon Country Curve

Aspeeding motorcyclist died after he failed to negotiate a curve on Sand Canyon Road in Canyon Country, authorities said Sunday.
Anthony Saso, 25, of Little Rock, was riding west on Sand Canyon near Soledad Canyon Road about 4 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle and went over the side of the road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Bill Burdick.
Saso was traveling at about 70 m.p.h. on a curve with a posted speed limit of 30 m.p.h. when the accident occurred, Burdick said. Saso died at 5:30 p.m. at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia.
